Green Street Blues is an-award winning ladies' a cappella group, founded in 1999 and drawing on talent from Kent and South East London. Specialising in the unique close-harmony Barbershop sound; this high-energy troupe of dedicated singers bring together entertainment, glamour and top class sound, under the direction of Peter Kennedy.


about us...
Having built a reputation for excellent and engaging performances under previous directors, Green Street Blues is facing an exciting and challenging year of change, with a new face out front and an active recruitment campaign ongoing to fill the risers with new talent. Having competed annually in National competition with our parent association LABBS, winning four bronze and one silver medals in the last six years, 2008 is a 'year off'; an opportunity to explore new avenues of competition and performing, and renew our repertoire of popular songs with some fresh and exciting music.


about our Musical Director...
Peter Kennedy joined us at the beginning of 2008, and we are looking forward to his inspirational and enthusiastic leadership taking the chorus from strength to strength. Peter sings Tenor with the successful quartet 'By Appointment'.
